Golf and Beyond (GAB) is a voluntary association bringing together a myriad of skills and expertise from highly accomplished individuals who are key decision makers in various companies.

Membership is made up of high net individuals who are both strategic and valued decision makers in their respective companies. Beyond companies, these individuals are thought leaders who are often consulted by other societal entities involved in business and or public sector.

Over and above playing golf, which is a common threat amongst the members, the raison detre of the club is to provide strategic advise to those decision makers seeking guidance. Most of the members are rich with earned social capital, having been leaders in their respective fields and areas of influence.

Interaction with societal leaders such as politicians and business people is held on regular basis. The purpose is multifold, providing a platform for parties to debrief each other on important developments and occurrences.

Discussions often focus on current affairs, hard news, worthy developments, emerging trends, overall socio economic analysis and African trends and global issues.

GAB is also focused on carving a corporate social investment involvement with long term and sustainable impact. Education is seen as having such multiplier effect. Recognising the challenges of the knowledge economy, GAB intends to use its end of the year event to raise sufficient capital to guarantee tertiary support to a limited number of deserving yet impoverished children.

Together with a recognized sponsor GAB will host a premier event attracting other successful members of society both in the public and corporate sector guaranteeing substantial amounts to shoulder the said support for academic pursuits.
